The Christmas season is in full swing, but there are plenty of other occasions to give a gift to that nerdy person in your life that you love oh so much.

1. Sh*t You Can Afford

As the tagline says, this website is great for those on a budget. It's linked directly to Amazon and features some of their best products under $20. They have a bunch of categories such as "Cool Gifts", "Useful", and "WTF".

2. ThinkGeek

ThinkGeek can get a bit pricey but is an awesome website for franchise merchandise from series such as Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Pokemon. You can search by interest, including ones like "Mad Scientist" and "Cat Lovers".

3. SuperHeroStuff

Your one-stop shop for anything Marvel or DC. You can even search by a specific hero.

4. Redbubble

Redbubble is not just limited to "nerdy" things, but it is still a great place to find them. They sell stickers, phone cases, t-shirts and more with user-generated designs on them. This one is great for more obscure franchises because they truly have something for anyone you can imagine.

5. Loot Crate

Loot Crate is a subscription service that sends a box to your door every month, but you can purchase one box at a time if that isn't your thing. There is a variety of types of crates, such as pop culture, gaming, and film and TV.

6. Hot Topic

Known famously for their goth and music items, Hot Topic (both the stores and online) sells a lot of merchandise from anime, Star Wars, Disney, and more.

7. Litographs

This website is perfect for the literary nerds in your life. They print entire books into visual art and put them on t-shirts, scarves, and wall art. Their works range from classic novels to short stories and poems.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
