Awesome Web Design Trends Of 2019 That You Must Try On Your Site

Visual designs are an important aspect of any website. A website is just as much about expressing your ideas as it is about selling your products and services. The site's design elements like colors, text, fonts, images, etc. all play an important role in creating your brand image in the minds of your visitors. Plus, having a pleasant site always helps in customer retention. This is why it's important for designers, both freelancers and those belonging to a web design company in NJ, to keep up and experiment with the new emerging trends in 2019. Some of these trends went out of practice for a while before hitting the online scene again, while others are completely innovative. Here are some 2019 web design trends that you should try on your website:

Vibrant Colors

Once upon a time, using bright vibrant colors were considered a huge eyesore and designers played safe with darker and duller shades to go easy on the eyes. But it seems that people are finally getting used to their screen's brightness because more and more brands are using bright bold colors to represent themselves effectively. Pastel palettes used for magazines, particularly Purple, blue, yellow and green, are quite popular on this front.

Organic Shapes

Designers are shifting away from straight lines with rigid designs towards fluid organic shapes. They aren't the regular circles, triangles and rectangles. Organic shapes are irregular shapes with unusual lines. They aren't stable like regular shapes which gives them a flow. These shapes are more akin to naturally occurring shapes giving the webpage a sense of life with the illusion of movement. They are better at bringing attention to other elements like text and photo and work very well with bright colors.

Geometric Shapes

But the rise of organic shapes does not mean the fall of geometric ones. If anything, website designers have found ways to create intricate geometric patterns to create stunning backgrounds. These patterns scale well on all devices and are thus ideal for responsive web designs.

Serif Fonts

Generally, serif fonts are limited to the print media with the sans being used for the digital. This is because it is easier to read sans on screen than serifs. And while sans is still used for the main content, it's not unusual for a web design company in NJ to use a serif font for headings and subheadings because serifs were meant to be decorative in the first place. It only makes sense to decorate the screen with them.

3D Illustrations

A blast from the past, 3D designs have re-emerged from their brief hiatus when flat designs seemed to take over the scene. 3D shapes are closer to reality and blur the lines between the real and the online. They also add depth to the webpages.

Outlined Typography

In a world of solid bold sans serif fonts, outlined fonts are a breath of fresh wind. More than actual texts, they are outlines of the fonts they represent. This feels both traditional and revolutionary giving the viewers a sense of modernity and trustworthiness. They draw attention easily and are easy to follow.

Micro Interactions

For something more subtle, try adding micro interactions to your site. The concept is quite simple, every time you interact with a design element a hidden element is revealed. For example, when you hover over a product, extra effects and information appear on the screen. These are especially useful on an e-commerce site, where many products are listed on the same webpage, making listing extra bits on each product of info about them easier. They also make navigation easier, bringing attention to certain features.

Broken Grids

Though rigid grids are easier to line up, more and more designers are turning towards asymmetrically lined grids for the sense of freedom they give in terms of eye movement. It isn't a new trend but before 2019 it was used to stand out while now it is becoming quite popular. This style works very well with minimalist asymmetric patterns, complementing their flexibility.

These are just some new emerging trends that ought to add some flair to your website this year.

Summary - 2019 has seen the rise of many new web design trends, either old designs reemerging from a hiatus like 3D shapes or completely new ones rising like glitch arts, which can add a modern look to a website.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
