If you've grown up in Ohio like I have, you'll understand the pain of having constantly changing weather. One second it's 90 degrees and sunny and the next you're walking through snow with your winter coat on.
I hate to admit it, but the weather affects my mood more than I'd like it to. Those perfectly sunny days when I'm walking around and laying in the grass are my favorite days, the days that you'll rarely find me without a smile on my face.
Meanwhile, the winter months bring a lot of changing moods that aren't always positive.
Despite this, I love the weather of Ohio and can't imagine living anywhere that doesn't have snow for months on end.
There's something about the changing seasons that adds some extra beauty to my life. Even though I'd prefer a year full of wonderful weather and happiness, I can't help but be thankful for the snowy season where all I get to do is lay inside with blankets and hot chocolate.
There's pros and cons to each season of the year, so I really can't hate Ohio for all the ups and downs with the weather. I don't know if I'll ever be able to move to Arizona or Hawaii, where there'd be a lack of the colder seasons that give me an excuse to bring out all the adorable sweaters and flannels that I own. I guess I'll just have to continue to accept the changing emotions that come with the tumultuous weather of Ohio.
