I recently came to the realization that life doesn't have a code to crack. We weren't put on this universe to find an answer to life. Life cannot even be defined. It is something bigger than being confined to an answer. Life is everything and I really believe that it cannot be fully explained. Yes, there are things that will go well which make us feel like we have it all figured out. But, you don't have life figured out because you went to college, got a good job, get promotions, have respect, make the salary you want, got married, bought a house, and want children.
We are all here with absolutely nothing figured out. Science and archaeology may help us understand the way civilization came to be. But, what about before we came to be? The world has been turning for thousands of centuries and we are only part of a sliver of that time. Sometimes I question why we are here and what our purpose as humanity really is. I also think that every individual has their own unique purpose. But sooner or later, we all become a part of history. And thousands of years from now, we could be even more complex and not even considered humans. Who knows what exactly, we as a species could possibly evolve into.
Maybe I am having an existential crisis. But, have you ever stopped and thought about why you do what you do and what it all even means. Sometimes I feel like we go to work or school for no real reason. It is just being a part of this never-ending cycle because we created it and there's nothing else to even do. In all honesty, I don't know what I would do if I didn't go to work or school. It is almost nearly impossible to make a substantial amount of money to do most things and live in many places. I guess you could choose to go off the grid or not even participate in society as a whole. But then I also feel like if you don't partake in society at all, then there's no way you could be an impactful person. If you want to change the world, you can't be a nobody.
I want to be somebody and I feel that I am on a mission. I want to experience everything that I possibly can. I want to be a part of society and make it better for others. I want to help people, literally in any way I can. I want my time here to be meaningful. I want my presence to make a difference for the future.
