We met at the madhouse

We met at the madhouse.

We meet at the madhouse

where doctors would barely see us

The mentally ill staff despised us

And we made Us our safe place

All in place! They said,

Line for Meds, you broken kids! They said,

Line for Food, you cattle! They said,

Line for Groups, you fools! They said,

Break time -- lights out

We meet at the madhouse

where doctors would barely see us

The mentally ill staff despised us

And we made Us our safe place

All in place! They said,

Line for Meds, you broken kids! They said,

Line for Food, you cattle! They said,

Line for Groups, you fools! They said,

We become family in the madhouse

Where the therapists could not get through our pain

Like The family that wanted out

They thought they helped, they were vain

Smoke break - Go see the smoked sky

We met at the madhouse

where doctors would barely see us

The mentally ill staff despised us

And we made Us our safe place

All in place! They said,

Line for Meds, you broken kids! They said,

Line for Food, you cattle! They said,

Line for Groups, you fools! They said,




We loved and felt loved,

We gave hand hugs while we got the drugs

We gave care and love

We at least gave a fuck

Break Time -- Misbehave And I'll send you to Unit 5

(You REALLY don't want to go to Unit 5!)

We meet at the madhouse

where doctors would barely see us

The mentally ill staff despised us

And we made Us our safe place

All in place! They shouted,

Go to the room! They shouted

We will lock you! They shouted

We will get the truth out of you! They screamed

We will not believe you! They yell

We will search for you! They yell

We kill your souls! We can tell

We will break you down! They screamed

We trigger you up! They did

And we will watch,

We will watch,

While you fall apart.


summing up: It was horrible.

You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.
