You're sitting in a sea of fans, both supporting your team and the visitors and with a great view of the action on the ice. The crowd is roaring, doing the wave and chants to intimidate the other team. The score is tied in the overtime with one shot for each team left to determine who wins the hockey game. The Devils shoot and score on the goalie of the New York Rangers, Henrik Lundqvist. With the Rangers player up to shoot at Keith Kinkaid, the New Jersey Devils goalie, the crowd went into an uproar and he blocked it!! The New Jersey Devils WIN THE GAME!
It is the end of yet another thrilling National Hockey League season. It was the start of a new era for the Vegas Golden Knights and a well deserved season for the New Jersey Devils. Many hockey fans, like myself, may not have the time or money to see every game or to have the statistics at the ready when talking to a fellow fan or person of a different teams interest. So what do I think are the best ways to attend games affordably or even to watch the games right at your fingertips on an electronic device?
First, the NHL app.
With this app, you are able to customize it to the team you most like to follow. It gives you their up to date schedule and the statistics of each game. It also has the feature to watch the game live or even listen to it live, if you choose not to have the apps paid version. Overall, definitely worth having.
Second, do you want to get to games, but do not have the giant wallet to afford the tickets? Do not worry!
A solution is here. There are two apps that sell tickets for seats in the area of the game you choose, at really discounted prices, and it is completely legit. They are called the Gametime and SeatGeek.
Both applications are available on the Android and Apple app stores. They let you pick a specific game date or arena that a team is playing at, then to pick seats based on price range or location of where you want to sit. After you select those options, the app provides the best prices for the seating. Having personally used both, it saves so much money and still allow you to have fun on a budget.
So are you a hockey fan and excited for next season? You are already one step ahead.
