1. Get Plenty of Sleep

Sleep deprivation causes mental imbalances which will increase your amount of stress.

2. Take time out of your day to hang out with your friends.

You cannot just sit in your room doing homework all day. You need to take breaks and hang out with your friends more than you think you do.

3. Always keep yourself busy.

Being bored and sitting there staring at your phone is going to cause nothing but your mind to race. Go do something!

4. Netflix and Chill.

Sometimes, it is necessary to just binge movies and shows on Netflix all day. It helps relax especially after writing 15 pages in a day.

5. Find friends who continuously bring your spirits up.

Fining the friends who bring humor to your life make a huge different on your stress levels. Laughter is the best medicine they say.

6. Exercise.

There is nothing better than going to the gym after a long day of classes. That grade on that exam you got back that stressed you out, you will forget about it while you are at the gym.

7. Think positive thoughts.

Negative thoughts lead to negative actions. Positive thoughts lead to positive actions.

8. E-Mail your Professors.

Any issues that you are stressing about, even if it is not about school, talk to your professors. All they want is for you to be successful and they love to talk student's ears off.

9. Set daily goals for yourself.

Setting goals gives you something to look forward to. This will cause a decrease in stress and cause you to reach out and experience new things.

10. Keep a planner.

Planners save college student's lives. Planners keep my everyday life organized so I never forget an aspect of my day. There is no waking up at 4 AM realizing that I have math homework due today that I forgot to do last night.

11. Do not procrastinate.

Procrastination stresses students out causing them to cram a weeks worth of work into one day which can cause an overload of stress. Spreading out your work is always better. If you do homework that is not due for a while when you are bored one day, you will feel a thousand times better about yourself.

College is a very stressful time in life, especially for those who suffer with Anxiety disorders. All the tips above do work. I promise you. I am a victim of Anxiety disorders and all the above reasons are how I manage to get through the everyday college experience without feeling like I am going to break down.
