12 Ways To Prepare For The Emo Is Back Tour

The Emo Is Back tour is quickly approaching, and it's best to get ready sooner rather than later. The tour consists of eight talented bands, and you can find a show near you at http://www.emoisbacktour.com! I highly recommend you check out all the bands on the tour; you'll fall in love instantly. Here are 12 ways to prepare for the tour if you decide to go!

1. Buy an "Emo Is Back" shirt

You can purchase one at http://www.wearebks.bigcartel.com

2. Follow all the bands on Twitter and other social media

Get to know the bands on a personal level before you go to a show! It will make the show more memorable!

3. Make a tour playlist!

It's best to know all the songs before a concert so you can sing along!

4. Be ready to crowd surf/mosh.

Best Kept Secret has made it no secret that they want people to have fun on the tour! Be prepared for an energized crowd!

5. Start saving money to purchase their CD's!

Physical CD's at their concerts are usually in the $5-$10 range. Support local music and buy a CD! Maybe a shirt or two also!

6. Clear out your phone for lots of selfies!

You'll end up making new friends at the concert to take selfies with, and you can meet the bands as well! But, please don't bring any selfie sticks, they can hit someone in the head.

7. Come early, stay late.

Don't just go for one or two bands, come early and stay late to check all the bands out!

8. Learn everyone's names.

There may be a band or two you've never listened to before, but make sure to learn all the members names! Don't be awkward and call someone the wrong name accidentally.

9. Get a good night's sleep the night before.

You'll be up all night once the concert is over; you'll have too much energy to be able to sleep. Make sure you go to bed early the night before so you're well rested.

10. Stay hydrated.

Be sure to drink a lot of water, no one wants to be dehydrated at a concert.

11. Have fun!

Be sure to dance! Don't just stand around and listen, have fun with friends!

12. Go with friends and make new friends!

Concert friends are the best friends in life. Make friends at concerts, and you'll have the same taste in music!

Try to go to one of the dates, you won't regret it! Best line up for the underground music scene! Support your locals.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
