They have better reactions than we do to the semester

Do not get me wrong, I love Disney movies and, more importantly, the Disney Princesses. But they can be slightly dramatic. Good news is that they can describe how the current semester is going for most students.

Here are seven ways the Disney Princesses describe the emotional strain of the semester.

1. First up, Princess Ariel

She perfectly describes what happens when the alarm clock goes off for that 8 a.m. class. Everyone would rather go back to bed.

2. Jasmine

She describes how we feel about Professors giving us last minute tests or projects. They know we are stressed and trying to finish the semester with decent grades.

3. Aurora

Sleeping Beauty describes how most of our self-pep talks go. They start off good then it just all falls to pieces. Keep on trying folks. You can make it.

4. Cinderella

She has the face of everyone who is just 110% done with the semester. She isn't even reacting to everything being thrown at her. Just like us. Not even reacting anymore.

5. Belle

Not reacting to things led us to Belle. That is the face of horror when we look at our grades online. And there is only three more weeks left in the semester to fix them.

6. Tiana

After all that hard work we are ready to sleep for the next weeks until the next semester arrives. You go Tiana. Do what we want to do.

7. Snow White

She perfectly describes us saying goodbye to college...for the winter break of course. We will be back for the spring semester with hopefully some resolutions to help with the school life. It is always a love hate relationship.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
