Not to be captain obvious, but college life oftentimes consist of chaos. Not bad chaos, but consistent busyness, which often puts stress on people. Although sometimes stress seems hard to manage in college, there are many ways to cope with it. Here are some of the best, easiest ways to give yourself a break when the chaos of college hits you.

1. Go to the gym

Although working out is never anyones top choice of activity, it does have its perks. It allows both your mind and body to feel refreshed.

2. Take a chill day and lay in bed with a movie on the TV

Snuggling up under multiple blankets can never do any harm. Give yourself a break from social scenes and take a day to yourself. Get cozy in your bed and watch your favorite movie.

3. Read a book that makes your mind wander away from life a little

With the act of reading comes an association to school. Although many times reading is mandatory for class, it can also be a great relaxation activity. Pick up a book that makes your mind wander away from real life.

4. Eat healthy

There is no better feeling than after you have consumed healthy foods. Sure, indulge on your favorite candy once in a while, but eating healthy makes both your mind and body happy.

5. Invest in a diffuser

A diffuser? Yes, a diffuser. Invest in a diffuser that you simply fill with water and oils. Coming home from class every day with the smell of lavender from the diffuser will make you more relaxed than anything else.

Take chaos with a grain of salt, but be sure to give yourself a break here and there and simply relax.

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
