So lately in Starkville it's been raining almost every day for the last month. Honestly, it has brought down my mood and made me grumpy. I like to be outside and active and I get bored after watching 2 TV shows. If you're like me, here are some ways to bring some sunshine to a rainy week.

1. Cook or bake something from a Facebook video you have always wanted to try.

I tried to make homemade pasta from a Gordon Ramsey video once. The presentation definitely fell flat, but at least it tasted good and was fun!

2. Plan for your future.

Although this doesn't sound fun for everyone, take a rainy day as an opportunity to think about what is next. This could mean looking at summer jobs, grad schools, or just drawing your dream life.

3. Have your own spa day.

It's important to make time to take care of yourself. Enjoy a long warm shower, paint your toenails, and even make a homemade facial.

4. Go to the Noxbee Refuge

Here they have covered spaces you can hang your hammock on and just chill with friends. Listening to the sound of the rain is really relaxing.

5. Sing and dance in the rain.

This is a cliche few of us have probably actually done. It can make for fun time with friends or a cute date. Why not step outside the box and make the most of the weather?
