I have grown up watching Villanova basketball. My mom graduated from the University and her and her friends have had a large impact on my love for the school and the team. Although I don’t go to Villanova I still religiously watch the basketball games. They recently just won the NCAA Championship for the second time in three years. These were my state of emotions while I watched the final game:
1. Anticipation.
Oh, my god, my favorite team has made it this far. It’s been an incredible season and I’m getting to watch them play.2. Nerves.
Ok, the other team is coming on strong, we need to get our defense going and get our head in the game.
3. Disappointment.
The other team is up by a considerable amount and our shots just aren’t going in. But we can’t give up now.4. Excitement.
All of our three’s are finally going in! And our points are racking up. They have found the magic. Nothing can stop them now!
5. Proud.
I can’t believe they just won! They have worked hard all season and deserve this moment. Another one for the record books.
