Whether you love the cold or dislike it, preparing for warmer weather can be exciting before it gets too hot. So here's are some things you can do now that it is getting warmer.

Spring Cleaning

Cleaning before the weather gets warmer is a must. Storing some winter clothes, shoes, and other items, getting rid of furniture we don't need or want, as well as wiping those sky dust particles.

Shedding Winter Weight

I know what you're thinking- why work out? Well, when we have been adding some weight through being less active as well as eating more during winter it can add some pesky pounds. After all, we could even just go for a walk, helping go into that summer body.

Plan Vacations!

Whether we open our wallets and hear crickets or hear that cha-ching, we should plan at least one get away from having to be a busy bee this past few winter months. There are many affordable options for a good vacation. Or even treat yourself in your own home. Regardless, you should relax and don't worry. You deserve it.

Shop for Clothes!

Some of us just don’t want the same clothes we had last spring and as a hoorah for getting through the cold shopping for clothes is the way to go.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
