After so many months of the cold weather, coming up with some fun, outdoor dates can be challenging. No more movie marathons and bowling trips, it is time to go outside and enjoy the warm weather with the person you love!
1. Beach
Nothing says warm weather like going to the beach! Taking a trip to the shore is so much fun and is super romantic. There are so many things to do that would be fun for both of you: you can get a nice dinner, take a walk by the water, or even on the boardwalk if the sand isn’t for you. You can play games on the beach, go for a bike ride, or really just lay on the sand and soak up the sun after a long winter. Either way, going on a beach trip is fun for everyone.
2. Zoo/Aquarium
I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding these two date ideas, but, in all honesty, they are so much fun. I don’t know about you, but I love animals, and I have so much fun watching them up close and personal. Even though it is sometimes heartbreaking to see, going to the zoo or an aquarium is actually a good idea to enjoy the warm weather and some good company… the animals, of course.
3. Picnic
Picnics are super fun and easy. You can pack up some food from your pantry or buy all your favorite foods from the store. All you guys have to do is grab a blanket, sit in a quiet place, and enjoy your time together. Sometimes all you need is one-on-one time where you can just sit and relax.
4. Ice Cream
I really feel like an ice cream date is just a staple of the summertime. Did you really HAGS (Have A Good Summer) if you didn’t go on an ice cream date??? I think ice cream speaks for itself when I say that this is a must-have date this summer.
5. Go to a Concert
During the summer, there are so many really cool concerts to go to! A lot of venues are outdoors, so they save all the good performers for the warm weather. With that being said, a lot of places have cheap concert tickets, with not-so-well-known performers which is still fun even if you don’t know the band that well. Either way, spending time outside and listening to good music with the person you like is just, quite simply, a good time.
