The Walking Dead Made A Mistake

I do not know if I can continue watching The Walking Dead anymore after its most recent mid-season finale. If you all saw it, then you know that one of the show’s most beloved characters is going to meet their end, and the character that I am referring to is Carl.

This was the biggest shocker I have ever seen in this show, and that is simply because I always believed that Carl was untouchable. Carl was destined to take over as the leader of the group when Rick was no longer capable, and in the comics, it is clear that Carl would be a great leader.

Personally, it is impossible for me to see how Rick is going to recover from this, because everything that Rick does is for Carl. He wanted Carl to live in a great and peaceful world, one that was not filled with violence and torture.

I think that because Scott M. Gimple decided to kill off one of the most important characters in the show, it is time for The Walking Dead to come to an end. I just do not see how Rick will find motivation to continue to lead. Once he defeats Negan, I think the show needs to call it quits.

I know that I am not the only one that is furious about Carl’s death, and this has ruined the show for me. I still haven’t decided if I am going to continue watching the show after this season is over, and if one more important character is killed off this season (like Daryl), then I think that it will be time for me to move on.

I understand that the show does not follow The Walking Dead comics directly, and this is evident because the show tends to kill off characters before the character is killed in the comics (Andrea is an example of this). So far, I have always liked the fact that the show was full of surprises.

I think that a show needs to keep viewers on the edge of their seats in order for the show to be successful. For example, when Hershel was killed, I was thoroughly surprised, and also when Glenn was killed, I was shocked. And even though Glenn’s death rocked me to the very core, and I am still trying to recover from it, Glenn’s death is not as significant as Carl’s.

Carl was shot in season 2, had to kill his own mother in season 3, was shot in season 6 and lost an eye because of it, and now, Carl was bit by a walker and he is going to die. His character had already been through enough prior to season 8.

The worst part is, there is no good reason to kill off Carl. Watching Carl develop and mature into a strong young man was so amazing to watch over the years, and now it is almost as though it was all for nothing. Carl will never get to lead, he will never get to see the new world that Rick is trying to create for him, and now Rick has lost his only son.

This was the worst decision that has ever been made in

The Walking Dead, and I know that fans are just as upset as I am. I don’t know if the show will ever recover from this, because they are definitely going to lose a lot of fans due to this crazy decision.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
