On March 14th, schools from all around the world participated in a walkout for 17 minutes to honor the 17 victims from the Parkland Shooting, the walkout was also to get the government to do something about tougher gun laws and more gun control.

There is a lot of things that are to blame for the shooting that happened on Valentines Day. How was the kid able to buy a gun? If the kid was already in trouble with the police why didn't they do anything about it? There are so many questions that need to be answered.

The Never Again MSD movement was started by some of those students who survived the shooting, which advocated for stricter gun laws, the same group is also planning a March For Our Lives on March 24.

Although I am no longer in high school, I do support the kids that chose to walk out but at the same time, we should be supporting the kids that chose to walk up as well.

We all need to be supporting each other, we shouldn't be more divided than we already are.

Ryan Petty the father of shooting victim Alaina Petty shared this approach on his Twitter account he said this exact thing.

Walking up is something that we should be doing every day, we should be kind to each other always, you don't have to be friends with them but smiling at someone, holding the door open for them, or just simply saying hello can make all the difference.

No I am not victim blaming, I myself have been bullied and I am on the spectrum, have ADHD and anxiety and other mental illness that I don't wish to disclose just yet, but I have never wanted to shoot up a school, that is not what I am implying to anyone that chooses to walk up.

I would never think that the kid who is sitting alone wants to kill everyone, we can't be stereotyping people, most of us are adults we should be past the labeling right now. I am just a friendly person and I feel like we should be teaching our children and our future children to be good people and not bully others.

Also don't be kind to people just because you think they are going to shoot the place up, that is just mean, be kind to people just because. We should be nice to people everyday you never know what they are going through.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
