Voicing The People's Opinion

I write to help draw people's opinions together.

Voicing The People's Opinion

In this world, we find ourselves, at times, complaining about the way things are. We complain to our friends and family about these things. The things we complain about are vast. It can be the way this year’s election season turned out, the detrimental penalty calls from NFL referees, Zaxby’s changing up their menu, or any other thing that has left people dissatisfied. There is always something out in the world that leaves people upset.

I write to help voice the people’s opinion. There are people all over the world who share the same opinion as us. We may agree, disagree, or simple not care about a topic. The issue is that there is nothing that draws us to together to voice our opinion on the topic. Through my articles, I hope to create the bridge that brings our voices together. By drawing our voices together, I hope it resonates throughout the world and it leads to change. The change can be making something better, getting rid of something, or simply bringing the deserved attention to something. In the end, this is what we want. We want to see changes that are going to make the world a better place. The only way that happens is if those who want the change are brought together in some way.

Without something to bring us together, our voices go unheard. There could be a million people with the same opinion on something, but if there is nothing to connect those opinions, all those people feel as if they are the only ones with that opinion. My goal is to prevent this from happening. To prevent the people’s want from going unheard because that is what leads to tragedies. The only thing worse than the actual tragedy is that people didn't voice their opinion that they knew could have prevented the tragedy.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
