We've been together awhile now,

Young lovers' collapse we never could allow;
Defying fate's most common calamity,
We've been fighting uphill awhile now.

Yet we've seen Calamity, through it we plough;
Through dusk till dawn faith and serenity
Surround us in our lovers' trance somehow.

From first dance to second to third to now,
You've raptured my heart; you've captured my city.
We've been happily entwined awhile now.

Of a sacred tree, full of vitality.
