Valentines Day is a day of love and being thankful for that one person who has done nothing more than pick you up when you're down. It's a day where we all truly embody love and the person who makes us laugh on a gloomy day. A day where we show our partner we want to cherish them for all of eternity.
But when you're supposed to be showing your love for someone, how do you do it when they're states away?
Love is a feeling you get inside and on this Valentines Day, I can feel my love for you from states away. I can feel your warmth even without you here. I can imagine your presence. And I hope you can picture our love together still on this day.
Love isn't something that can be messed with. You can pull, push, twist, or bop it, but it won't go away unless it is naturally gone. You cant just stop loving someone for the sake of it. Love is something so unstoppable, it just happens.
Being away from the person you love on valentines may feel like the end of the world, but is it really? Sure you may feel jealous of those couples who are together, but does anyone have the love you and your boyfriend have. No one has that connection you two share because it's a special bond that only you are aware of.
So if you are celebrating Valentines far from your loved one. Make the most out of it. Embrace all the memories and laughter shared together. Don't dwell on the fact you're not physically together. Why should there even be one day when love is celebrated? Shouldn't it be every day?
