4 Cutesy Valentine's Day Dates For You And Your S.O. To Enjoy Together

Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that you love or hate. Couples usually love it because they can be all mushy gushy with each other, but single people hate it because they are watching every mushy gushy couple exchanging saliva.

Whether you love or hate Valentine's Day, you should always celebrate a holiday! In life, we sometimes forget to celebrate the little things, so I say everyone should do something on Valentine's Day, President's Day, and even Arbor Day! While you're figuring out your future plans for President's Day and Arbor Day, I will tell you four ideas for February 14th...

1. Go out to a romantic restaurant

Ah, puppy love. (Get it? Because they're puppies in love?!) I just love...love! To honor the one you love, take them out to dinner at your favorite restaurant or a new trendy place you've been dying to try.

Whether you're at the most expensive restaurant in town or at a fast-food place, your love will appreciate this simple gesture of spending quiet time together away from your busy lives.

2. Skip the restaurant, and spend a romantic evening at home

Whether your loved one is your dog or a human, you can spoil them by making a homemade meal and creating a romantic atmosphere in the comfort of your own home. This may be my favorite idea because, after a long day of work and school, I like to come home and hang out in my pajamas.

Wear your bunny slippers, play Michael Buble songs, and put on your cooking apron to show how much you care.

3. Go on an adventure!

If you are able to take the day off of work or school, plan an adventure with your loved one! There are so many day trips you can take to show how much you love your significant other: go to the beach, zip line, ski, snowboard, or do whatever your favorite activities are! Dedicating the whole day to your S.O. will show how much you care and love them.

4. Have an anti-Valentine's Day party

If you're single or if you and your S.O. hate the idea of a corporate-made holiday, have an anti-Valentine's day party! Invite all of your friends and celebrate how much you love them. You don't need the love of a boyfriend or girlfriend to be happy. All you need is the love and support of your best friends.

I hope you all have a great Valentine's Day filled with love and happiness! Don't forget to call your family and friends to tell them how much you love and care for them.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
