The University of North Texas will be celebrating its125th anniversary this fall! Homecoming will be from Oct. 4 to Oct. 10, and the theme is "Forever Mean Green: A Journey Through Time." On Monday morning, the Greek Life Office released the much anticipated Greek pairings for Homecoming. The teams are:
Team 1: Alpha Delta Pi, Sigma Nu, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Iota Phi Theta and Delta Epsilon Psi
Team 2: Alpha Phi, Alpha Tau Omega, Phi Kappa Tau, Delta Sigma Theta and Lambda Theta Phi
Team 3: Chi Omega, Phi Kappa Sigma, FIJI and Sigma Lambda Gamma
Team 4: Delta Gamma, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Alpha Phi Alpha, Delta Phi Omega and Sigma Lambda Beta
Team 5: Kappa Delta, Theta Chi, Phi Beta Sigma and Kappa Delta Chi
Team 6: Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Kappa Phi, Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Iota Alpha
Team 7: Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Chi, Omega Psi Phi, Delta Kappa Delta and Omega Delta Phi
Team 8: Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Sigma Phi, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho and Lambda Theta Alpha
"This year is very special to our university because we are celebrating our 125th year, which means Homecoming will be filled with even more spirit, pride and tradition," Homecoming Student Director Kandice Horton said. "With that being said, we are encouraging everyone to help us celebrate the history of the campus we hold near and dear to our hearts."
The Homecoming game will be played against Portland State on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Apogee Stadium.
