On a weekly basis, you have to reduce at least 30 minutes of the time that you are spending online. In the end, you have to use social media for only 30 minutes. You will be surprised to notice that how much time you spend online.

Take only one hour for emails

A common mistake most people make is they spend most of their time replying to all the emails all the time. This is the reason they feel like they are spending all their time online. It is better that you keep on the hour in the day in which you will respond to all the emails. It can be any hours in your day that you can use. You will notice a positive change in your lifestyle. You will get the relaxation that you need. You will not be on your phone or laptop all the time. It will give you the satisfaction that you need.

Third party apps for posting online

In case you have to post something important on social media it is better that you use the third party apps for the services. It means that you will not get distracted by the news feed. It will allow you to save your time effectively. As well as the message that you were planning to send will be reviewed by everyone. It will allow you to manage your time effectively and you will not have to deal with any serious issues.

Get back to your real life

It is important that you get back to real life. Some of the important changes that you have to bring in your life are.

You should stop using a smartphone when you are having breakfast, lunch or dinner with your family. Try to spend more time with your family and listen to the stories of your children.

Make sure that you keep your phone away when you are planning to sleep. It will reduce the stress on your mind, and you will feel more relaxed while going to sleep.

Assure that you focus more on the given tasks instead of checking your social media all the time.

Make sure that you manage everything professionally. In the beginning, it may get hard for you to stop using social media. That is why instead of making some serious changes you should go slow. Make the changes of a weekly or monthly basis. That is the only way you will be able to have the effects you wanted. You will notice that you will grow closer to your family. It is an investment you are making for your future.
