Universal Studios Parks in Florida have been closed since mid-March. The closure was due to the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic and they closed for an indefinite amount of time. Over the course of these last months, there have been many changes to the things that we do on a day to day basis. More things are becoming contactless services and more people are wearing their face masks for their own protection and the protection of others. Parks are anxious to reopen but even more anxious about making sure that the right protocols are taking place for the protection of all parties involved. Universal Orlando may open as soon as June 1st if their proposal is approved by Gov. Ron DeSantis. If approved to re-open, the parks will look much different than what we are used to.

Do you yearn to visit these parks soon? Or will you be refraining from visiting theme parks for the time being?

Everyone has their own reasoning but the facts are still there, regardless stay safe and be safe.

Some of the changes that will take place are listed below:

Parks will open with reduced capacity.

In order to practice safe social distancing the parks will open to limited capacity and work its way up.

Temperature check for employees and guests before entering the park.

Any temperature above 100.4 degrees will result in not gaining access to the park. This will be in place for employees and the guests.

Face coverings/face masks will be required to enter the park.

Face masks will not be optional. Guests and employees are expected to enter the park with their face masks.

Limited capacity for dine-in restaurants.

Mobile ordering will be strongly encouraged, this will decrease face to face contact. Menus will also be paper and disposable, paying through the app will also be encouraged.

Cars will park one or two parking spaces apart

In order to help avoid close contact, cars will also be spaced out upon entering the park.

Interactive play areas will be closed along with water fountains or areas where mist is provided.

Water fountains are a great source for the spread of germs, closing these things can reduce the risk of contracting the virus.

Attraction lines will be spaced out to separate parties.

Parties will be allowed to stay together however proper protocol will be in place to keep parties separate.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
