A quick reminder to be thankful for things other than your friends and family this Thanksgiving!
1. Netflix
After a long, tedious day of classes, what’s better than cuddling up in bed, binge-watching your favorite show while forgetting about all of your responsibilities that you have? Nothing. Netflix is probably something we all take for granted. As you stream all of your entertainment you find yourself discovering the hottest new shows or even re-watching classics, obviously reciting every line.
2. Facebook Food Videos
While doing your morning Facebook scroll, you already know that you are bound to come across at least three food videos. Watching someone make a Mozzarella Stick Onion Ring, a Cinnamon Bun Waffle, or Churro Ice Creams Bowls is sure to make your mouth water or even trap you in your computer screen, watching every food video ever created. You better hope no one will want to unfriend you after sharing food videos daily!
3. Having Exact Change
You know that satisfying feeling when your Starbucks drink costs $4.01 and you have EXACTLY four dollar bills and one penny? Be thankful for those little moments in life.
4. Good Hair Days
There’s nothing like rolling out of bed ten minutes before your 8 AM with your hair still perfectly curled from last night. Definitely be thankful for the days that there’s no need to throw your hair up in a messy bun or wear a hat.
5. That Best Friend That Tags You in at Least 5 Memes per Day
Getting that Facebook notification “______ tagged you in a comment” is the best feeling in the world. If you or your friend even miss a day of tagging each other you know there’s going to be a fight. It’s that friend who tags you in funny memes when you’re sad or relatable memes with the comment “this is so you”, that you should appreciate this Thanksgiving.
