Finally, I get to write about something that the majority of the population cares about. It took me about six months to have something relatable to read about, and the timing could not be any better. Alright, enough pandering, let's do this.
So we all know the new Avengers movie is coming out April 27th. If you didn't know, you know now, thanks for reading my article and for putting bread on my dinner table. "Infinity War" is set to be the 19th Marvel Movie released in the new age Marvel and AMC Theaters has decided to capitalize on this. AMC has announced it will host a 31-hour movie marathon of all eighteen previous Marvel movies in order, all leading up to the debut of "Infinity War." That means you will start with the 1st "Iron Man" and you end with "Black Panther" (this will probably be a future question on HQ Trivia, you're welcome). Although AMC claims it is 31 hours long, I am predicting this will probably be like 4-5 hours longer than expected – don't forget those movie trailers they're probably gonna show in the middle of some of the movies.
Okay, I am going to address the elephant in the room here. First of all, as awesome as this sounds, who in their right mind wants to be in a movie theater for 31 hours? Seriously, that's a day and half of movies. There will be so much productivity lost in participating in this, but super fans will be super fans.
What happens when nature calls though? Do we get like a ten-minute intermission to stretch our legs and to refill on food and drinks? Speaking of food and drinks, do we get a special deal on food and drinks on this marathon? I am just asking the important questions here!
That's another thing with this, I have been researching this for days now and I couldn't find anything to do with pricing on this, which I think would be really good to know. I wonder if you get a free ticket to "Infinity War" if you participate in this, or maybe a pair of Marvel onesies and a pillow because as I said before, 31 hours is a long time to be sitting in a place. Dance marathons are 24 hours, but we are moving around. In this case, you're literally sitting down and watching movies for almost two days straight... to me this sounds dangerous to your health. Alright sorry for that tangent, I digress.
Anyways, if you're bold enough, or you really don't have a life, or if you're that crazy about Marvel movies, this could be your thing to go to. Most likely this is gonna be on April 26th, conveniently the day before the premiere of "Infinity War." To those who participate, I wish you well, you are the reason the world keeps moving, and the main reason why Marvel will keep releasing movies until I have grandkids.
