Alright, here’s an extremely long list of things to consider on your campus visit. Yes, it's probably way too long, and you don’t need to ask every single question and some are much more important than others, but knowing the answers will ultimately help you make your college decision. Knowing these questions ahead of time will help you catch things your tour guide says, find information in pamphlets/handouts, or just notice things around campus.
Keep an eye out to see if this campus has what you want- whether it’s huge deal breakers or small details. Make sure to tell your tour guide what you’re interested in and they can tailor parts of the tour specifically to you as well as talk more in depth about what the college has to offer your interests. Ask about specific programs you’re interested in such as theater, choir, chemistry, etc. If the tour guide doesn’t touch on specific topics you’re wondering about, be sure to ask. If you forget to ask something, or are still curious once you get home from your tour, research it on the school’s website.
After every college visit, write down your initial thoughts. You can make a list of exciting details that caught your attention, as well as some concerns you have. Making a list of pros and cons can also help you compare schools further down the decision-making process.

Good luck!
