There's no magic like Disney magic.

Every once in a while we need a little Disney magic to brighten our day. Here I have assembled a marathon that will have you singing, smiling, and maybe even crying, as you watch your favorite Disney characters do what they do best, bring us joy with that magic. So sit back, relax, pull up a chair, as the dinning room proudly presents ... your marathon.

Beauty and the Beast

What better way to start out a marathon than with one of the best soundtracks of any Disney movie ever? Who can resist Mrs. Potts singing "Beauty and the Beast" or Lumiere belting out "Be Our Guest"? Plus, you can get a refresher before the live action film comes out (gasps).

Mulan

Okay, this movie is EXTREMELY underrated. This movies screams girl power, and "I’ll make a Man Out of You" is one of the best Disney songs ever--hands down.

Tangled

Yet another somewhat underrated Disney movie! Flynn Ryder is the quite the catch. I mean who can resist that smolder?

Up

Now for a little Disney-Pixar love. Yes, this one is a bit of a tearjerker in the first ten minutes, but it is so worth it. Here you will find one of the most touching, and realistic, Disney romances.

Moana

This is the newest Disney movie out there, and it is absolutely fantastic. The music, the story, and the girl-power helps this one stand out amongst the classics. Plus Hei Hei--enough said.

The Lion King

The Lion King is a classic with some of the best music out there. This one has a little bit more action and will give you a break from all the princesses!

Aladdin

If "A Whole New World" doesn't make you cry, then you should be questioning your emotional stability, people.

Captain America: Civil War

Of all the Marvel movies, this one is probably the best. Not only does it round up nearly all of our favorite characters (aside from Thor unfortunately), but it also features Chris Evans looking rather handsome while holding back a helicopter. (See below for reference.)

Live-Action Cinderella

If you watch this movie solely for the prince and her blue dress, it is 110% acceptable. This is a fantastic live-action adaptation of the beloved animated movie.

Lilo and Stitch

This movie is great and filled with many laugh out loud moments. If you’re a cryer like me, you’ll probably shed a few tears with this one, too.

The Little Mermaid

"Under the Sea" is such a jam that you can’t help but bob your head and tap your feet. And we all know we belt out "Part of Your World", you can’t even deny it.

Tarzan

The music in this movie is some of the best in any Disney movie there is. Plus, the romance between Tarzan and Jane really draws you in.

Finding Dory

The sequel to the fantastic Finding Nemo will make you laugh, cry, and also put a huge smile on your face. Baby Dory is actually the cutest thing ever.

Hercules

This movie is often forgotten, but is actually one of the best! Hades is quite a fabulous villain, and this movie may have started the phenomenon we all know and love: “what are those?”.

Zootopia

Being the newest Academy Award Winner for Best Animated Film, this movie tackles many issues in today’s society, such as discrimination and prejudices, all while adding the Disney humor that we know and love. This film is phenomenal and explodes with creativity and wit. Plus, the DMV scene is hysterical.

Frozen

Now I know what you’re thinking: this movie is hugely overrated, and it is. However, you can’t deny that "Let It Go" is an AMAZING song and super catchy. Plus, Olaf is one of the best Disney characters ever.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
