This weekend on September 8th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas the UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley defends his belt against #2 ranked Welterweight Darren Till. The UFC Flyweight Woman's champion Nicco Montano defends her belt for the 1st time against the #1 ranked former-Bantamweight Title challenger Valentina Shevchenko.

The current Welterweight King Tyron Woodley makes his long-awaited return to the Octagon to face a fierce competitor in Darren Till. The last time we saw Tyron in the octagon was when he successfully defended his belt against Demian Maia last summer at UFC 214. We have not seen Tyron in so long due to him recovering from injuries and surgery he recently had on tore his labrum in his shoulder during the fight which kept him out of the action of course. Tyron has successfully defended the belt twice against Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, and his climb to the belt was not easy as he has faced names like Josh Koshcheck, Kelvin Gastelum, and UFC Veteran Carlos Condit.

Everyone is curious to how Tyron will approach this fight, but he is really confident when it comes to defending his belt especially against Darren Till. A win over Till can be huge as it would be the 4th time he has successfully defended his belt and he will solidify his claims as the true king of the welterweight division and one of the greatest to run the division. It makes you wonder if Dana White may have a super fight lined up for Tyron Woodley if he can defeat Darren Till. It just seems like that is the thing to do when a champion has successfully defended the belt enough times in the UFC as of recently in the organization.

The "Gorilla" Darren Till is looking to turn his goal into a reality as the champion Tyron Woodley is in his crosshairs. The last time Darren was in the octagon was in Liverpool, England at UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Till when he defeated Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson via unanimous decision. A win for Till will crown a new Welterweight Champion and become the first man to dethrone Tyron Woodley since he dismantled Robbie Lawler a few years ago.

In the Co-Main event, Nicco Montano makes her first title defense against the very dangerous Valentina Shevchenko. After negotiations dragged along the fight has finally been made. Nicco was last in the octagon at the TUF: New World Champion when she defeated Roxanne Modaferri by unanimous decision to become the first UFC Woman's Flyweight Champion. Across the Octagon will be Valentina Shevchenko who we last saw completely destroy Priscila Cachoeira in a brutal one-sided beating that really should have been called off early in the fight due to ground-n-pound. A win for Nicco will grant her a huge win over a tough opponent plus her first title defense. A win for Valentina will give her the well-deserved title and would be solidifying herself as one of the greatest woman's mix martial artists in the world.
