Having the GroupMe app as a college student can be a lifesaver at times. GroupMe is great for asking questions about an assignment or getting a group of classmates together for a study session. However, the class GroupMe can me a little annoying at times. There are always certain type of people who ruin the chat. Here are a few of "those" types of people:
1. The complainer.
"Ugh I don't want to go to class today" "I am so over this" "I am so tired", We are all feeling these things get over yourself.
2. The ghost.
This person is either one who occasionally likes a message or has the conversation on mute. Either way you forget this person is even in the chat sometimes.
3. The stupid question asker.
"When is our next test?" "Should I go to class today?" "What is the weather like?", This is pretty self explanatory. Don't be this person.
4. The expert in side conversations.
If you have a question for an individual in the GroupMe, DIRECT MESSAGE THEM. The entire group does not need to be a part of your conversation.
5. The "sends random shit no one cares about" person
Ah yes, there is always a meme king/ queen. This person is the one who will send the most random stuff that no one gets and/ or cares about. All this person is doing is blowing up our phones.
6. The police.
This person is one who watches what is said in the chat. Occasionally they will show the professor if anyone sends or says anything suspicious.
7. The planner.
The person who creates an event for EVERYTHING. We do not need to keep a calendar in the GroupMe to remind us of a test or quiz, that is what a syllabus/ planner is for.
