Have some spare time on your hands, or are you looking for a new way to procrastinate? Here are two new hobbies that you can get yourself into!
1. Hand lettering
If you haven't seen hand lettering before, you have to look it up online! I first started lettering in August, because I wanted to learn how to do something new. It is easy to get started on and there are so many blogs out there to teach you different styles! My first tip would be to buy a lettering pen (my recommendation would be a Tombow Fudenosuke hard tip or soft tip pen, which you can get on Amazon). You can use hand lettering for lots of things like cards, art, or just fun! Why not have a go?
2. Art
Okay, this one seems very obvious. But hear me out! You don't have to be particularly "arty" to enjoy art. I never really used to enjoy art, but over the summer I used watercolours loads! You have to find something that works for you and isn't necessarily too much work. For example, I spent a lot of time painting watercolour galaxies with years-old watercolours after watching lots of tutorials on Instagram! There really are no limits to art. Find what you enjoy, and enjoy it.
Why not give one of these hobbies a try? They could help you de-stress, or could possibly lead to something more...
