'Twas the week before finals and all through the dorm

all the students were preparing for the impending storm.

The students were tucked in the library with care

knowing that finals would soon be there.

We were much too busy to go to bed

as visions of our L's danced through our heads.

With some in their blankets and others in sweats

we realized a C was as good as it gets.

When on the main lawn we heard a large cry

we realized that 13 hours had somehow gone by.

Filled with coffee, we worked like crazy

because the rest of the semester we'd been so lazy.

The plague sweeps through campus without hesitation

leaving us to work with renewed aggravation

We have no food or sleep or sanity

and we finally realize our teachers' inhumanity.

Just make it through this to make it to break

but right now it just seems too much to take.
