We all know Donald Trump as the infamous president of the United States of America. He is the man who fired those who were investigating his Russian scandal. He is the man who is removing food stamps which support the homeless and hungry people. He is the man who wants to build a wall with a country whom we have established a peaceful trading relationship with.

From ruining our country's image as a global leader to destroying our home planet, President Trump has shown us his malevolent character through actions against nature by departing from the Paris Climate Accord.

In the fast-paced world which we live in today, industry and business play a key role in the success of a country's economy. As more countries industrialize, the amount of carbon dioxide emissions increases drastically. Fast forward a few years and the ozone layer which protects us from harmful rays soon has a hole 10.9 million square miles wide over Antarctica come September 2015.That's almost three times bigger than the United States! This hole forms over Antarctica annually, and many world leaders see this as a paramount predicament which they had to resolve promptly.

At a conference dubbed COP21 regarding climate change in December 2015, Paris, Obama and other world leaders created the Paris Climate Accord. Their goal was to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius, with their aim being 1.5 degrees Celsius. Positive effects of this deal were witnessed just one year later. On September of 2016, the hole had shrunk to an estimated 8.9 million square miles. The hole is slowly recovering and is expected to heal by 2050. However, with Trump's decision to leave the Paris Climate Accord, America is set to enter an era of desolation, and the ozone may not have a chance to recover, leading our entire planet into a future filled with plight.

On June 1, 2017, President Trump single-handedly withdrew from the Paris Climate Accord. By doing so, he not only left a deal which was supposed to save our planet from the crisis it is facing due to excessive pollutant emissions, but he also retaliated against 194 other countries who agglomerated to help save our one and only planet by restricting carbon emissions. The U.S.A.is now one of the only three countries that are not involved this agreement.

Such decisions will impede the world leaders from reaching their goal of reducing global warming to below 2 degrees Celsius a year. Countries across the globe will have to either work harder or give up on the Paris Climate Accord since the U.S. contributes to an astounding 15 percent of the harmful greenhouse gas emissions. Now let me put this in perspective.

China contributes a preposterous 30 percent of the greenhouse gas emissions, which means the US and China contribute to nearly 50 percent of the pollution worldwide. This makes China and the U.S. vital participants in the Paris Climate Accord. Unfortunately, Trump took a step in the wrong direction, and the aftermath of his decision will be noticed soon. From spontaneous wildfires to turbulent tsunamis to catastrophic droughts,we will witness revolutionary climate change. However, leaders from around the world and America have not remained tranquil. Many of them have voiced their opinion throughout social media.

American leaders from all types of businesses have reprimanded Trump for his imprudent decision. Numerous CEO's of major companies, such as Levi Strauss & Co, Apple, Tesla Inc, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Intel Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Microsoft, Facebook and Adobe have convened in an attempt to convince Trump on his stance concerning the Paris Climate Accord. A few iconic CEO figures such as Elon Musk of Tesla and Bob Iger of Disney have both taken a step further and left the White House Advisory Council. On the other hand, Apple's CEO Tim Cook has gone and personally spoke to Trump regarding his stance on the Paris Climate Accord. When Cook returned from his visit with Trump, he revealed that his attempts were futile. Allegedly, whatever Cook had explained to Trump to change his stance on the deal, "wasn't enough." In addition to CEO's responding, workers at EPA have blasted their boss in rebelling against of Trump's decision.

Mike Cox, along with many other EPA staff, recently retired after working for 25 years from the EPA and sent a letter addressed to Administrator Scott Pruitt regarding their new policies. He believes Pruitt's ambitions for the EPA have blurred due to his support for leaving the Paris Climate Accord. The direction EPA is heading has changed from what they had previously promised. What had started out as an agency to help keep our air, land and water clean has turned into a puppet show driven by Trump. Rather than being concerned for securing a future, they are anxious about business's making a profit in the present!

Now, tell me, is it fair? Is it fair that one man can approve of such an action? Is it fair that we are harming mother nature, which in fact, was the one who gave us a place to live? Is it fair that we depart from a deal that was set to secure a safe and sustainable future for upcoming generations? Is it fair that the boss of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, supports such outrageous activity? Is it fair that Trump prioritizes profit over people, peace and our planet?

As a proud American, I demand we stand up united, and fight for the environment!

We must not let the clown make all the decisions. He has toyed with our government long enough! The president needs to remove himself from the fantasy world he lives in and come into the reality. And the reality is that we only have one planet. Our future is within our grasp, based upon the decisions we make and the actions we take. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau states, "You cannot build a strong economic future unless you are at the same time protected and mindful of the environment."

We must act swiftly to ensure there is a future, and this certainly cannot be done in the hands of a man who only knows how to make a fool of himself and his country.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
