Trump Continues To Use People As Bargaining Chips

In order to build Trump's wall, lives are in the balance.

I certainly hope that we are all in agreement about one thing: Trump is the worst President of the Modern Era.

I said Modern Era because we could get into the nitty-gritty of it all and call into question President's such as Jackson and even that awful Andrew Johnson (who I'm sure we'll all never forget).

Regardless, that's still comparing Donny John Trump to adulterers, liars, and blatant stupidity --- simply because we've only just had the pleasure of having a President who embodies all three traits.

My seemingly unending rant about Trump has merely been heightened as of late as Trump continues to use people as an object with which to barter. DACA was ended by the Trump Administration -- or so we thought. Trump has re-upped the discussion on the academic pursuits of illegal immigrants as means of coercing Congress into his bigger, huger plan: building the wall.

In retaliation to the outrage expressed by Americans over the cancellation of DACA, Trump has decided to reinstate DACA if, get this, he gets that wall and it gets funded. Trump is using the real lives of working people in an attempt to build a costly wall that won't actually fix anything. My big question to those in favor of this wall is: are you not aware of the wall we already have? Do you really think that building a bigger wall is going to stop anything? Because, truly, the wall we have is sufficient and a bigger one will only make us seem ridiculous when we see the same amount of illegal immigrants coming into the country. At this point in time, though, who's to say they even want to come here?

Trump is doing this -- using people as pawns in his idiotic game -- to try to complete at least one of the items on his 100-Day bucket list. Despite being President for almost a year now, Trump has once again set his sights on building this ridiculous wall in yet another weird attempt to keep illegal immigrants out (which is not the solution and won't ever be the solution).

This plan will fail. Trump lacks the support of his divided Congress and the American people are laughing at this blatant attempt. Trump might as well be requesting Congress build a 20-foot gold statue of himself in front of the White House, it's so outlandish. This coming month, I predict we will be seeing Trump continuing to attack the wall idea and the other items he was meant to accomplish months ago. Trump is getting desperate, his base is falling, his golf swing probably not improving, and the United States is getting tired of his need to be praised.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
