I Tried The O2Inc. Whirlpool, And You Should Too
O2 Inc.

I know what you may be thinking: What on earth is an O2Inc. whirlpool?

Picture your average jetted bathtub - rectangular base, curved porcelain inside, faucets and handlebars - but its utility is far from average. The O2Inc. whirlpool is a highly therapeutic technology that uses water infused with molecular oxygen to promote healing, rejuvenation and skin health. Oxygen is suspended in the water in tiny "microbubbles" that is smaller than the diameter of a human hair, and the solution contains nearly 20 times the level of natural oxygen found in ordinary tap water. O2Inc. reports that its "hyper-oxygenated tub system delivers over 50% more oxygen than that found in the air," making competing oxygen therapy systems shrink in comparison. What's more, the solution contains no peroxides or ozone, so it's entirely free of harmful radicals.

Sound too good to be true? Believe me, it isn't.

When I first stepped into the tub, happily donning my favorite swimsuit, the first thing I noticed was the silky consistency of the warm oxygenated water. It was slightly denser than regular water and felt soothing against my skin. Every now and then I could feel the little microbubbles passing through the liquid, lightly tickling my toes and fingers. Had I not known about the oxygenation system, I would have thought it was a typical, relaxing bubble bath.

That was my initial reaction. What came next surprised me.

The longer I soaked, the more I became aware of an entirely refreshing feeling starting to diffuse throughout my body. My lungs expanded more widely and easily, and it felt as if every cell in my body had begun to open and breathe as the oxygen circulated. I felt lighter and energized - a radical transformation from my previous sleepy, sluggish state. It was amazing. By the time my 45-minute session was over I can confidently say that I noticed a difference in the way my body felt. My skin was softer, my muscles had let go of tension and my mind was sharper. Even the healing stress fracture in my foot showed signs of improvement. When I touched the injured area, it no longer smarted with pain but instead produced only the slightest dull ache. I was completely floored.

It's no wonder professional athletes flock from all over the Pittsburgh area for their whirlpool treatments at the O2Inc. Health Spa. After just one use, I can't begin to imagine the benefits of regular treatment.

O2Inc. also sells its oxygenated formula in a convenient O2Dermâ„¢ topical gel for quick and easy application. I've had similar success with this product, finding it very helpful with skincare, muscle pain, and treating minor injuries. The best part is that it leaves behind absolutely no residue, so say goodbye to that greasy lotion film.

In short, if you were to ask if I'd recommend any of the services provided by O2Inc., I would respond with an enthusiastic, resounding yes! This is a technology that needs to be spread far and wide, and I sincerely hope that more and more people can get the chance to experience its benefits.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
