Everyone who knows me knows that one of my favorite things to do is to go shopping. Shopping has always been my favorite things to do! I grew up always loving clothes and fashion and always wanting the newest and coolest trends!

Going to college, shopping became a lot harder than it was in high school when I was living at home. Living at home I have so many malls and stores right by my house and I was always able to get the coolest clothes.

Now living away at school, shopping is not as easy as it once was. A majority of the time you have to shop online which has its perks but it’s not as fun as going to the mall. Being in college means that you don’t have the funds you always had while living at home. But you still want to have the coolest trendiest clothes out there.

Over the past two years at school, I have learned where to shop and where not to shop! I have figured out where to get the best clothes for the best deal! Below are a few of my favorite stores to purchase clothes at when I’m on a budget!

Forever 21

I have never been the biggest fan of this store. I shopped there in middle school and then stopped shopping there for about six years because the quality was not good and the store was such a mess. Recently I have been venturing my way into Forever 21 and they really do have good deals on trendy clothes! Tons of the items I have purchased from boutiques are similar to what they sell for a low price! Another good thing about this store is they ship to me at college which is so great since the mall is 30 minutes away!

H&M

H&M has tons of great clothes and great business professional clothes as well. H&M is a little more expensive than Forever 21 but not a lot more, and the quality is a little better! They definitely have great clothes for a great price.

Nordstrom Rack

Nordstrom Rack is probably one of the best stores right now! They have pretty much everything and it is all name brand items! You can buy Free People, Wildfox, Adidas and so much more! All of their clothes are great quality and they have top brands for a low price! It is great that you can order online and have the clothes delivered right to you at school and you can return them when you go home without a problem!

Marshalls/TJ Maxx

Both of these stores are amazing! You can buy the cutest clothes at both of these stores for great prices! Marshalls, unfortunately, does not have an online store but TJ Maxx does which is great especially when you are away at school!

If you love shopping on a budget don't forget to check out these stores!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
