Traveling is so exciting. There are so many different places to see and so many different adventures to do around the world.

From a young age, we are told to save our money. Saving money is great — it gets us excited for the things we look forward to. To me, there are pros and cons to saving money.

Some of the pros I can think of are that saving money is great because it helps you budget, and if you have an emergency, you have extra money to help you out. Another pro I can think of is saving money is a good way to make a list of goals.

Some cons to saving money are that some people aren’t very good at saving. Another con is that life is too short to save all the time and not have fun and experience what the world has to offer.

Saving money doesn’t mean you can’t have fun, it means just have common sense when it comes to spending. If you can’t afford something, don’t go into debt over it. If there is a trip or event that is really catching your attention, save some money or make some extra cash.

There are so many different ways to make extra cash. Some examples include picking up extra shifts at your job, pet sitting for a friend, babysitting for a married couple who don’t go on dates very much, or even cleaning out your closet and selling the clothes you don’t wear anymore. These are all great examples of how to save and make some extra cash.

If you don’t know where to start or even know how to start, there are great financial experts that can help with your budget. One of the most famous financial experts out there is Dave Ramsey. He has many books and videos on how to learn to budget.

Saving money doesn’t mean you're poor or can’t have a good time, it means that you are setting personal and financial goals for yourself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
