Travel.
The best thing that a young college student not saddled down with a stable job, tons of bills, and other financial holds, can do in their lives. We're in the prime of our life and should take the advantage to go out and explore what this world has to offer.
I recently came back from visiting Asheville, North Carolina with a great friend of mine. I had the time of my life, not just seeing Asheville and the surrounding natural beauty of Blue Ridge Parkway mountains, but being with my friend. It was the little things such as having a girls-night-in our first night, where we got down and dirty on deep and personal things.
Even though we have only known each other for a short time, we just clicked.
You know those kinds of friends who when first meeting, feel like you've known them all your life? Yep, that's my story! We just seem to get each other, perks and all. And you're gonna need someone who you can get along with when you travel.
Trust me.
I've traveled with other friends on trips before and something always happens that sets the mood for the rest of the trip. It could be anything from petty arguments to personalities clashing that can ruin the trip. I'm not saying you can't travel with certain friends but you know the ones who are chill enough not to let the little things disrupt the mood, so be mindful of that when traveling.
All in all, just travel more, adventure more, but do it with people who will make the trip just a little bit more special.
