Top Five Villains Who Belong in the DCCU

It feels good to see bad

Top Five Villains Who Belong in the DCCU
Comic Book Movie

Recently I listed the heroes I’d like to see get in on the DCCU action, but what’s a superhero movie without its villains? Not a superhero movie, that’s what. So here’s the top five villainous characters I’d like to see face off against the heroes in the new films:

5. King Shark

He’s a giant shark man, I don’t have to explain anything. Put this guy in the Aquaman movie, yesterday.

4. Gorilla Grodd

He’s the king of a bunch of gorillas, he’s super smart, and he has psychic abilities. He’d be like The Planet of the Apes but on crack, except the crack would be on steroids. Do I want to see him fighting Flash? Heck yeah I do.

3. Atrocitus

Okay, yes, Green Lantern has to fight Sinestro first. I can accept that. But after that’s out of the way, he needs to take on the Red Lanterns, specifically this guy. He runs on rage and uses blood magic to destroy people. Somebody give him a spot, please.

2. Cheetah

Who’s fast, vicious, and hates Wonder Woman with a passion? If you answered Cheetah, then congratulations, you’re capable of basic reading and simple inferences. Cheetah was once an ordinary archeologist who betrayed Wonder Woman, and seeing that tale of treachery unfold is something that could be compelling enough to carry a live action film, at least as part of a villainous plot.

1. The Joker

Yeah, technically he was already in Suicide Squad, sure. Thing is though, editing hurt the character badly and Jared Leto’s performance, while minimized, was still good enough for him to deserve a chance to terrorize Gotham alongside Margot Robbie’s equally great Harley Quinn. Put him in an actual Batman movie where he can be given just as much of a chance to shine as Ledger’s Joker got, and I’m highly confident that he’d be capable of giving the champ a run for his money.

And so, there's my list. Even with two articles, I wasn't able to fit everyone I wanted in- not by a long shot. Vixen, Static Shock, Huntress, Martian Manhunter, Deacon Blackfire, and Lobo would be just a few of my honorable mentions. Still, I think I was able to narrow things down to my top choices, and so I suppose that will need to suffice.

Now the question is, what do you want to see from the DCCU?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
