My Top 10 Bucket List Travel Destinations

Maybe one day I'll find myself in these places, but for now, a girl can dream, can't I?

My Top 10 Bucket List Travel Destinations

Hi? Hello, yes, I've come down with a serious case of wanderlust that needs to be treated ASAP.

Since I've most recently visited some amazingly beautiful (Barcelona, Spain) and incredibly odd (Point Pleasant, West Virginia) places recently, I've been dying to go out into the world and live my next adventure.

Without further ado, here are some places I'd absolutely love to cross off my bucket list one day.

1. Sydney, Australia

Giphy

SPECIFICALLY to see 5 Seconds of Summer perform a hometown show. That would be my main purpose to go, but I would of course love to go and explore the rest of Australia before and afterwards! They never taught us about Australia in school, you know. We gotta go learn ourselves!

2. New York, New York

Giphy

Start spreadin' the news! The towering skyscrapers, Lady Liberty, and blocks after blocks of shops call my name. Would I ever watch the ball drop there? Maybe if we prevent the inevitable crash of ultimate global warming and the city isn't underwater or frozen during New Years, absolutely. Mainly to sing New York, New York, though. Silliness aside, it's a romanticized city, so I can't wait to have my fantasies shattered, just like every romantic fantasy ever haha.

3. Paris, France

Giphy

Speaking of romanticized cities! The city of love could absolutely not be left off this list! The Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the lock bridges, the cuisine, the language, the American-hating french, what fun! Truly not ac city to skip out on during a tromp across Europe.

4. New Orleans, Louisiana

Giphy

By far the United States city I want to visit the most. Mardi Gras? Hell yeah. Spooky ghost and voodoo lore? You betcha. JAZZ??? Mix those three together; partying, ghost stories, and music, and you pretty much have a recipe to make me. More than anything I want to waltz down the streets of New Orleans and indulge in whatever the city offers up to me. An absolute dream.

5. All of Italy

Giphy

I'm sure literally everybody that knows me didn't see this one coming at ALL. My being 100% Italian is one of the many traits that is so important and noteworthy of myself and my character. So badly my entire life I've wanted to see all of Italy's secrets they've hidden from me all this time. Rome, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Pompeii, Milan, Sicily, and most of all, Baranello. Meeting family I've never met and reuniting with family I haven't seen in years is one thing I KNOW I will do within my lifetime.

6. Los Angeles, California

Giphy

La La Land, of course! Running into some famous people, doing the tourist-y stuff, hitting the beaches, all an absolute must! I'd drive pay a visit to Disneyland while I'm out that way, obviously, no other way to do it. So much artistic genius flows in and out of that city, it would be a privilege to even drive past that city (if the traffic isn't too bad)

7. Greece

Giphy

DOT DOT DOT! Having my own Mamma Mia moment? Of freaking course. Crete looks absolutely gorgeous, those little streets and amazing ocean views? I would get around just as much as Donna did when she was there ;) around the area looking at everything Greece has to offer . . . obviously . . .

8. Portland, Maine

Giphy

I don't remember too too much about this city in particular, but I remember seeing it in The Bachelor and falling in love with it enough to put it on my bucket list. Yes, Portland, I will accept your rose.

9. Riga, Latvia

Giphy

Another one I saw from the Bachelor, but here you can go naked bunjee jumping as a couple!! Over water! From a ski lift type thing! Now that's on my bucket list for sure. The city and country also look gorgeous, so of course I'd have to stop by on my tromp across Europe.

10. Las Vegas, Nevada

Giphy

Couldn't be a Cristina bucket list without including Sin City! I have friends (family at this point) that live there and have been begging for me to come visit for years, and since I'm inching on 21, I may very well be going soon! The Strip, the casinos, hell, I can even travel around the world walking down just one street! I'll hit a couple of the countries on my bucket list there and beyond! Gabby and Briana, I'm coming for you!

I could go on and on.

One city I left out that I'll be visiting over spring break; Miami, Florida! My aunt and I are visiting my cousin that lives there! I'm so excited to not only get some sun and sand but to see the culture in Miami! I've got big expectations since Jane The Virgin is set there.

I hope the new year wind blows wanderlust (and booked plane tickets) your way!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
