Anna and Jonathan SacconeJoly have been recording, otherwise known as vlogging in the YouTube World, their life ever since 2009. They captured all life’s valuable moments on camera, including their wedding day, the birth of their Maltese dogs, (which they have six of!), and the birth of their three children: Emilia, Eduardo and Alessia. With approximately 1.8 million subscribers and over 705 million total views (and counting!), their videos are definitely worth the watch. I mean, who doesn’t want to see a cute little diva girl in action? Or an adorable boy play rugby? Or a baby toddler attempt to say ‘da-da?’ I know I do!

One of the reasons why I enjoy watching these family-friendly vlogs is because of how real they are kept. There is no production team, no staged events, nor any scripts. Everything that happens within the fifteen-twenty minute videos/vlogs actually happens.

Another reason as to why I enjoy watching these family-friendly vlogs is simply the honesty that we see emerge in them. We all know that sometimes it all gets “a bit too much” and well-known individuals are no exception to a “perfect life.” This honesty is seen in the SacconeJoly Videos/Vlogs through the smiles, the laughs and the tears.

With that being said, here are my Top Five SacconeJoly Videos/Vlogs!

5. Why I Quit YouTube: Eating Disorder, Body Shaming -

As I mentioned earlier, one of my favorite aspects about the SacconeJoly Videos is how real they are kept. They don’t hide their problems from neither themselves, nor their viewers. Although this video wasn’t posted on the main SacconeJoly YouTube Channel, it was posted on Anna SacconeJolys Channel, (which you can Subscribe to here), as this video was mostly about her personal struggles and dilemmas. The honesty within this video goes to show how, even if someone is well-known, they still struggle with everyday issues, like you and me. It only furthers the notion that hate is never okay, and the idea that you are not alone - that you can get through any and every situation.

3. Our First Christmas With 3 Kids! -

One of my favorite videos to watch is the ones where YouTubers share what they received over the Holiday Season. It’s not that I’m nosy or anything of that sort, I just genuinely enjoy seeing people’s smiles and reactions as to what they received. This video is no exception, especially because children are opening their presents from Father Christmas/Santa Claus. The smiles and laughs on their faces are simply priceless!

2. 5 Year Old Mermaid Birthday Party -

1. Our Wedding:

This one is definitely sure to make you cry. Perhaps that is why it is Number One on my list, as I love a cute, sweet and emotional video. What makes this video so different than any other Wedding Day Video is the fact that it wasn’t shot professionally, nor was it done in an altar like setting. It was mostly filmed by the groom, Jonathan, on a vlogging camera. It almost felt more real, as if the viewers were there with the bride and groom, on their Wedding Day. This one is sure to make you tear!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
