Top Five Reasons of Why Lost Is The Best Show Ever

I just finished watching Lost for the first time and might I say it has been an amazing couple of months. I feel like everyone should watch this show just because it is so amazing in its own right that it might be the equal to FRIENDS.

1) The cast is so dang loveable

I fell in love with so many characters on this show. It got to the point where if anything bad happened to them I would start to cry to my friends about how unfair the show was to them. You fall in love so fast with some of them that all you want is the best for them no matter what the circumstances are.

2) This is the most emotional show I have ever watched

I know I know, I said Revenge was the most emotional show ever. But this one takes the cake after I finally finished the series. I cried for the whole two hours in the series finale and then an extra hour just because of everything that I had to go through for that great of an ending. The whole moral of the show is to live your life to the fullest and to find people to make your life better. If that doesn't get you crying after a heart-wrenching series then I don't know what will.

3) This taught us that true love does exist

In the entirety of the series, everyone is finding that one person that completes them or the person helping them was placed on that island for a reason. I am not saying that Lost says that in order to be happy you have to find love. They are saying that in order for you to be happy with yourself that someone needs to show some sort of love towards you so that you can learn to love yourself and learn to finally "let go".

4) The really cute cast can be very enjoyable to look at

The picture should be explanation enough.

5) The fact that the TV show had a complete full circle.

The plot line was so complex that how other characters were able to become connected to other characters always blew my mind. The fact that certain characters were also so deeply moved by the events around them made the whole experience seem more real when you watched it. When the series ended a lot of the questions I had were answered (I really wanted to learn how Polar Bears got to the island). Easter eggs for past episodes and future episodes linked to one another and it was this constant back and forth of pushing and pulling. When the show finally ended I just thought to myself how am I going to replace something this amazing and great?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
