What’s better than watching a good Halloween movie while munching on candy corn and loads of chocolate? Here are my all-time Halloween movies to watch on a fall night:
1. "Halloween"
If you’re someone who loves horror movies with a lot of suspense and action, "Halloween" is perfect for you. After killing his sister, Michael Myers escapes from Smith's Grove Sanitarium and begins to look for his next victims.
2. "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
Follow Jack Skellington, Halloween Town’s pumpkin king, on his adventure to Christmas Town and his attempt to bring Christmas to his home. This stop-motion animated film is a great family movie for all ages.
3. "Casper"
Looking for a kid-friendly Halloween movie? Watch as Casper, a friendly ghost, befriends the 12-year old daughter of a paranormal expert. In addition, the house is not only populated by Casper, but three other ghosts as well.
4. "Corpse's Bride"
If you loved “Nightmare Before Christmas”, this movie is a must see. Just before Victor is about to marry Victoria, he is sucked into the underworld by a corpse bride who wants to marry him. Join Victor on his adventure to get back aboveground before it’s too late.
5. "HalloweenTown"
On her 13th birthday, Marnie discovers that she is a witch. Join her on her adventures in Halloweentown - a magical place full of supernatural creatures such as ghosts, witches and werewolves.
6. "Monster House"
Looking for a family horror film with lots of laughs and scares? "Monster House" is about three kids who discover that their neighbor’s house is a living monster. Follow them on their goal of saving their neighborhood.
7. "The Great Pumpkin"
Nothing feels more like fall than watching the PEANUTS gang celebrate Halloween. Linus waits for the Great Pumpkin on Halloween evening while the rest of the peanuts attend a Halloween party.
