I recently took a vacation in Europe and while I was there I was able to see a large number of beautiful buildings as well as a variety of common tourist spots. In this article, I will list and describe the top 5 places to visit in Paris. Let's dive in.

5. The Champs Elysee and Arc de Triumph

While the shopping is a bit too expensive for the average person, the view is iconic. Especially at night. It is definitely worth a visit or at least a drive by.

4. Eiffel Tower

Probably the most recognizable symbol of France, the Eiffel Tower is worth the visit for the photo op alone.

3. The Louvre

Even if you won't be able to get through the entire museum in one visit, the artistic masters all have a home in the museum. From Da Vinci's Mona Lisa to Michelangelo's Rebellious Slave statue, there is an insurmountable amount of beautiful artwork within the walls.

2. Sacre Coeur at Montmartre

Arguably the best view of the city can be found here. Additionally, there are several shopping areas for pedestrians near there that make the big city feel like a small town.

1. Musee de Orsay

This museum is full of impressionist artists from Degas to Renior. However, this museum (unlike the Louvre) can be conquered in one afternoon.

Overall, Paris is full of beautiful sights. There are almost too many for any one city. Paris is the home of several sights that did not make the list like the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palace of Versailles. However, the locations on this list are the ones nobody should miss.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
