Ever since Netflix was introduced, movie theaters have seen a decline in traffic. I have personally contributed to that trend, as I like my couch way too much to have to sit in a sticky (for whatever reason) movie theater seat in a dark room with a bunch of strangers. Recently, theaters have started offering meals and even alcohol to entice people to come. Don’t get me wrong, those are two very tempting additions but it’s going to take way more than burnt popcorn and overpriced booze to get me to leave my living room. *Cue Zac Efron shirtless*
I haven’t paid much attention to movie ads lately, but Bay Watch got my full attention (and may or may not have inspired this article). So on the topic of things that would get me to leave my house, Zac Efron without a shirt on is pretty high up on that list. On a not so aesthetically inspired note, there are several other movies that are definitely worth going to see and lucky for you, I did my homework and came up with a convenient list for you to consult before leaving your house (God forbid) for a bad movie.
- Bay Watch (for obvious reasons)
- Wonder Woman (because do super hero movies ever really get old?)
- The House (featuring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler, this movie shows us how the couple turns their house into a casino in order to pay their daughter’s college tuition)
- The Mummy (for those of you who are much braver than I am and enjoy horror movies about Egyptian zombie-mummies)
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (maybe this is just my personal opinion, but I’m a sucker for a good pirate movie)
