Food has literally started taking over the world. I know that sounds a little crazy, but everyone bases their day around what and when they are eating. There are so many food blogs and Instagram accounts that are only about food and about the coolest and trendiest places to eat all around the country. Every city is now being known for different kinds of food! Some of the most popular food places and items are…

1. Levain Bakery – 167 West 74th Street, New York, NY (and other NYC locations)

Known for their amazing chocolate chip cookies, crunchy and crispy on the outside yet chewy and mushy on the inside just how everyone likes them!

2. Magnolia Bakery - 1240 Avenue of the Americas at 49th Street, New York, NY (many locations in NY and international)

Known for the outrageous banana pudding. Everyone waits in lines for it and they sell out a lot of the time! They also have the prettiest cupcakes you will ever see!

3. PVDonuts - 79 Ives Street, Providence RI

Famous for their different donut flavors! They have crazy flavors such as Mocha Salted Caramel and Caramel Apple Cheesecake!

4. Diddy Riese - 936 Broxton Avenue, Westwood, CA

Famous in LA for brownie and cookie ice cream sandwiches! There is nothing like these cookie sandwiches! You can pick your favorite cookie and your flavor ice cream and they make your sandwich for you!

5. Bar Pitti - 268 6th Avenue, New York, NY

One of the best places you can ever eat pasta at! The food is straight from Italy, and sitting inside the restaurant you would think that you were there!

DŌ has become one of the coolest places to go this past year. It is everyone’s favorite place to go to get cookie dough and to take a really cool Instagram pic!

Wowfulls has become one of the most popular ice cream places in NYC. They serve egg waffle cones filled with tons of different ice cream flavors and toppings! They have become very Instagram popular!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
