These are the top 10 Washington Redskins players of 2015.
10. Alfred Morris
Morris has performed well, given that his carries have dropped significantly this season and his offensive line is not so great at run blocking. He still hits the whole with a burst and carries defenders.
9. Matt Jones
Jones ranks just ones higher than Morris because he has made it to the end zone four times. He has a little more speed and pass-catching ability than Morris. His only issue is ball security.
8. Chris Baker
Baker has had a pleasantly surprising breakout year for himself, establishing himself as the Redskins' most disruptive lineman this season. He penetrates into the backfield on running plays and has himself a career high five sacks so far. Prior to this season, his highest sack total for a single season was just one.
7. Ryan Kerrigan
Battling through a hand injury and adjusting to Joe Barry's new defensive system, Kerrigan may not be having his best season, but he is still the Redskins' best pass rusher by a long shot. He leads the Redskins with 6.5 sacks.
6. Dustin Hopkins
Hopkins has had himself a solid year, connecting on 21 of 24 field goals (87.5%). He has a lot of power when he kicks the ball and has been fairly accurate in his kicks, too.
5. Bashaud Breeland
Breeland is the Redskins' best defensive player, picking off two passes for 56 yards and registering a couple of forced fumbles. He is the future for Washington's defense secondary. Breeland plays man coverage well, showcases great ball instincts, and tackles so well for a cornerback out in space.
4. Kirk Cousins
Coming in at #4 is the quarterback himself: Kirk Cousins. Cousins ranks among the league's best in completion percentage this year (68.6%). He has thrown for 17 touchdowns for over 3,000 yards with 10 interceptions and three rushing touchdowns. His decision-making has improved a lot from last year: he's humble and he is a total team player that I believe is the future of this team.

3. Pierre Garcon
Garcon is the total package at wide receiver -- great hands, decent speed, versatile route runner, and run blocker out on the edge. He has caught 54 passes for 562 yards and three touchdowns so far this season. He should get more passes thrown his way but he is sometimes overshadowed by the other receivers.
2. Jordan Reed
If Reed knew how to block he would probably be #1. He is the ultimate receiving tight end, totaling 58 receptions for 574 yards and six touchdowns, all team highs. His route running is phenomenal and he rarely drops passes. Reed is a nightmare for linebackers and safeties. He also makes plays down in the red zone.
1. Trent Williams
Trent Williams is the ultimate left tackle and quarterback's best friend. He is the only left tackle to not surrender a sack this season and he run blocks like a mammoth. Williams is quick for a tackle and always knows where to be to spring the ball carrier for another few yards. He simply plays mistake-free football and does his job nearly every play.
