Dogs are actually the best thing on the planet. They bring so much joy to everyone and it's a blessing that we share this life with them. Here are my top 10 reasons why dogs are so important to our lives:

1. They are SO much better than cats.

2. Corgi Butts

I mean, what more could you want?

4. They care about you...a lot.

love and affection. Because they have this ability, their senses can tell if their owners are happy, sad, angry, or anything else. Instantly they will know how you're feeling right when you walk in the door and they'll act upon it by greeting you more or not leaving your side.

5. They're so FLUFFY!!

Just Google image search American Eskimo Dogs, Chow Chows, and Pomeranians. You'll love what comes up.

6. They make the best companions.

They're not called 'man's best friend' for no reason.

7. They make the BEST Instagram pages.

My whole Instagram feed is FULL of dogs (mainly golden retrievers) because it makes my day seeing a happy dog doing something so cute. My favorite accounts are: @everythingatlas @barkleysircharles @minipennypup (a local pup account that I had the pleasure of meeting) and @milliethegolden.

8. They keep you active.

Walking dogs and letting them explore the outside world is the best thing you can do!! Exercising is a breeze because it's so much fun being with your best friend!

9. Shelter doggies make the best addition to families!

It can literally cost you from $0 to $100 to adopt a dog. It is so simple to go to your local shelter or humane society and find your pal for life.

10. They make you feel so loved.

All dogs want is attention from you. Sometimes they can seem like your needy ex, but they do it because they love you. Dogs love the heck out of their owners and it is the best feeling to come from a long, tiring day to be greeted by what loves you the most with their wagging tails and wet kisses.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
