There is something out there for everyone in the world of television shows. The hard part is actually finding something that one can relate to, sit through for however many seasons there may be, and fully enjoy. Below are the top 10 television shows that are a must when it comes to good television shows.
1. Supernatural
Dad is on a hunting trip and he hasn't been home in a few days are some of the first words spoken in this fan favorite series. "Supernatural" follows the lives of two brothers, Sam and Dean, as they fight what goes bump in the night in their father's 1967 Chevrolet Impala.
2. How To Get Away With Murder
Annalise Keating and five of her students at a well-to-do law school, get caught up in a murder plot. They have to try and cover up what they know, what they did, and how it will affect their lives in the future. That is, if they can avoid getting thrown in jail in the process.
3. Doctor Who
"Doctor Who" is the story of a time lord known as The Doctor, who travels through time in his time machine called the TARDIS. He does this with the help of his handy companions who change every now and then. This show is one of the British sort, which makes watching it that much better.
4. Once Upon A Time
"Once Upon A Time" takes place in a town called Storybrooke, Maine where fairy tale characters live. The interesting thing, is that the characters don't know who they are because they are under a powerful curse put on them by the Evil Queen. The show switches back and forth between the characters lives in Storybrooke, and their lives in the fairy tale world.
5. Sherlock
Sherlock and Watson trade in the horse drawn carriages for taxis in this modern take on the classic story of Sherlock Holmes. Much like "Doctor Who", the fact that both are British television shows, makes them so much better. "Sherlock" will keep you on the edge of your seat and begging for more.
6. The Following
Joe Carroll is a notorious serial killer and former English professor who is obsessed with Edgar Allan Poe. He has gained a mass of followers who are willing to do any and everything in order to prove their loyalty to him. If subtle literature references and serial killers are your thing, then I highly recommend "The Following".
7. Lucifer
Yes, this show is about Lucifer himself. Although, it's not what you think. Lucifer is out of hell, running his own club, and helping solve crimes in Los Angeles. As strange as it sounds, it is absolutely hilarious.
8. Teen Wolf
Scott McCall, a teenage boy turned werewolf, tries to solve the supernatural mysteries taking place in his hometown of Beacon Hills. He does this all with the help of his friends, most of which, have special powers of their own. It is rather difficult to do all of this considering that they are all just in high school.
9. Bates Motel
Bates Motel seems to be set up as a prequel to the well known movie "Psycho". It tells the story of Norman Bates as a teenager. It gives us a look at how Norman became who he is. We get to see how exactly the Bates Motel got started and what influences Norman's mother had on him.
10. Constantine
Constantine is the story of John Constantine, a man who is forced into the world of the supernatural and has to defend the world from evil. He does so with plenty of sass and the help of a few friends.
