A quote I live by is "if you give a woman the right lipstick, she can conquer the world."

Finding the right shade is not a task for the weak, but when you love lipstick as much as I have for the last 4 years, you've tried a lot, loved a lot, and have quite a collection. So here are the top seven must-haves for your makeup collection!

1. Tarte- Lip Paint in Birthday Suit

I just got this as a birthday surprise at Sephora and it is AMAZING!!! 10/10. Everyone needs this shade in their life. Here is the problem, I can't find it anywhere! So if anyone knows where I can buy a lifetime supply of this shade slide into my dm's.

2. MAC- Persistence

A great brown, but not too dark. It adds the perfect amount of color, but not too grandma-like since it is brown.

3. Bare Minerals- Risk it All

I seriously LOVE this shade. It is so bold and so fun. A lot of people mistake it for red, but that makes my eyeball twitch. It's hot pink. Super hot stuff.

4. Bare Minerals- Never Say Never

If you ever need a Barbie look, this is the shade for you. Honestly, you need to be a little tan to really rock this color. It's not that great for pale skin.

5. MAC- In the Spirit

BLACK IS BACK. You can rock it, I believe in you. Bold bold bold, good good good.

6. MAC- Lady Danger

Even the name is great! This shade is a bright red, and I would also not recommend this color for people with pale skin. It's super pretty and summery!

7. MAC- Faux

This is apparently one of their best sellers! This shade is a lot like the Tarte Birthday Suit, it is a soft pink that is the perfect addition to your lips!

8. MAC- Ruby Woo

Alright, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this red. It is so perfect. Basically, if you need a red lipstick buy this one!

9. MAC- MAC Red

Basic, because if you ask a MAC representative to help you find a shade of red, they will tell you this color. I am a big time red lover & if the Ruby Woo is too dark for you, this is a softer easier red.

10. MAC- Rebel

I think the title says enough, be rebellious and buy this shade. It's like a purple, but I think it looks so cool.

So that's the magical list of lipsticks you must have! Go treat yourself to some of these fun shades. Also grab a bottle of the MAC Prime & Prep for your lips, because you don't want them to chap with all these great lipsticks you will be trying!

P.S. Dropping $18 on lipstick is so worth it!!! Go treat yourself to some of these fun shades!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
