I'm The Girl Who Can't And Won't Stop Taking Pictures Of Everything

Go ahead, stop and take a photo of that.

"Why do you always have to take pictures?"

"Live in the moment, stop taking so many pictures."

"Ugh, we have to STOP again for her to take a picture, guys."

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am that picture person. I love taking pictures of everything I find interesting.

Why?

I believe pictures have a way of showing us something different than what our eyes are capable of translating. You have an outlet to look back on and remember what you were feeling at the exact moment and what others were feeling and what you were doing. Sometimes all people have to hold onto our the pictures and the memories that came along with those pictures. So what if you have to stop every step or tell someone, "Wait, stop right there and let me take your photo." There's nothing wrong with taking everything in from a picture.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't enjoy the now and not put your phone or camera away. Of course, there's been plenty of times where I forget to take out my phone because I'm just taking it all in but I enjoy documenting everything because it gives me something to look back on and be happy about. Heck, even be sad about. One day we're going to wake up and only have the pictures to remember what our lives were like and that's what is going to keep us going.

Also, some of us have terrible, terrible memories so we NEED to have things to remind us of what we did in our lifetime.

Take as many pictures as you want because life is too short not too.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
